Job Requirements
- Five years of experience in commercial cooking
- apprenticeship or graduation from accredited culinary school
- knowledge of food and hygiene regulations including HACCP
- good communication and organizational skills
- service orientation
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications

Job Duties
- Support food production activities in hot and cold kitchen
- identify deviations in inventories and production and initiate countermeasures
- control and adjust production plans
- ensure compliance with recipe specifications
- participate in food product and menu development
- update and distribute catering manuals
- support cost control of budget, personnel, and material costs
- participate in internal and external menu presentations
- coordinate production countermeasures for customer complaints
- develop and support training plans for kitchen staff
- represent kitchen staff to external stakeholders
- research and incorporate industry innovations and food trends
- participate in marketing activities
- ensure quality of received goods
- maintain tidiness in food storage and follow first in - first out principle
- guarantee adherence to hygiene, health and safety standards and HACCP regulations
- organize, staff, and direct area of responsibility
- guide, motivate and develop subordinate employees
- implement and control cost budget
