The role of Head Chef at SeoulSpice is pivotal to the success of the kitchen and overall guest experience. Job Requirements
- Experience preparing food in high-volume settings
- Dexterity with knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Formal training in food preparation and sanitation standards

- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications
- Experience preparing food, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Dexterity with a knife and familiarity with basic kitchen equipment
- Training in food preparation techniques, inventory management, and sanitation standards
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperatures
Job Duties
- Ensure all food meets quality standards
- Prepare proteins, marinades, sauces, vegetables, kimchi, and other recipes following recipes and food guidelines
- Uphold the highest sanitation standards by maintaining a sparkling clean and organized kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and schedule preparation cycles for proteins, marinades, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients to meet daily needs
- Manage inventory and prep food based on delivery schedules
- Train team members on proper food preparation techniques, safety standards, and recipes
- Supervise trainees during their learning process
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Accurately label, log, and track inventory and food prep activities
- Manage inventory with FIFO
