Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
  • deep knowledge of Italian cuisine including traditional and modern techniques
  • strong leadership and team-building skills
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • ability to maintain food quality and authenticity
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • experience in inventory management and cost control
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Create and refine an authentic Italian menu that balances traditional dishes with innovative culinary techniques to keep offerings fresh and appealing
  • supervise, train, and mentor the kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment
  • ensure all team members adhere to high standards of quality, efficiency, and cleanliness
  • oversee all food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality and authenticity
  • monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost control and quality standards
  • enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with local health regulations
  • develop and manage the kitchen budget, ensuring profitability through cost-effective planning and minimizing waste
  • work closely with front-of-house management to ensure smooth coordination between the dining room and kitchen, especially during high-volume periods
