Job Requirements

  • No formal education required
  • Availability to work 45-50 hours per week including weekends
  • Ability to work full-time on-site
  • Previous culinary experience preferred
  • Strong leadership capability
  • Ability to work 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Passion for Italian cuisine
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a head chef or similar leadership role in a restaurant
  • Strong understanding of Italian cuisine and culinary techniques
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Creativity in recipe development and menu planning
  • Ability to manage food costs and labor efficiently
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Lead the kitchen team and oversee daily culinary operations
  • Develop and create new weekly dishes maintaining Italian authenticity
  • Manage food preparation ensuring quality and consistency
  • Monitor and control food and labor costs to ensure profitability
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
  • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance performance
  • Collaborate with management to plan menus and special events
