- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in varying temperatures
Job Qualifications
- experience preparing food, preferably in a high-volume environment
- dexterity with a knife and familiarity with basic kitchen equipment
- training in food preparation techniques, inventory management, and sanitation standards
- spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
- strong leadership and training skills
- excellent organizational and time-management skills
- ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperatures
Job Duties
- ensure all food meets quality standards
- prepare proteins, marinades, sauces, vegetables, kimchi, and other recipes following recipes and food guidelines
- uphold the highest sanitation standards by maintaining a sparkling clean and organized kitchen
- monitor inventory levels and schedule preparation cycles for proteins, marinades, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients to meet daily needs
- manage inventory and prep food based on delivery schedules
- train team members on proper food preparation techniques, safety standards, and recipes
- supervise trainees during their learning process
- follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
- accurately label, log, and track inventory and food prep activities
- manage inventory with FIFO
