We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Chef to join our team either on a full-time or part-time basis. This leadership role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction the restaurant is known for. The Head Chef will be responsible not only for the culinary creations but also for managing the kitchen team and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. A positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a passion for Thai cuisine are essential for success in this position. Job Qualifications

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Create Thai culinary menus
  • direct the food prep process
  • plan and order ingredients sourced from Thailand and necessary equipment
  • arrange for kitchen repairs when needed
  • use profit and loss statements to effectively manage costs and meet budgets
  • hire, manage, and train kitchen staff
  • oversee kitchen staff, looking for opportunities to counsel or coach
  • foster cooperation, collaboration, and respect
  • have knowledge of and enforce all safety and sanitation requirements
