We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Chef to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis. In this pivotal role, the Head Chef will lead the kitchen operations by ensuring the delivery of high-quality food while maintaining exceptional attention to guest service and kitchen staff support. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of kitchen functionality, from menu creation and inventory management to staff training and kitchen safety compliance. A key aspect of this role is fostering a positive, cooperative workplace culture characterized by effective communication, respect, and teamwork among the culinary staff.

The Head Chef at Best Thai will be responsible for crafting authentic Thai culinary menus that meet customer expectations and uphold the standards of the restaurant. This includes directing the food preparation process, ordering ingredients and necessary kitchen equipment, and overseeing all kitchen repairs when needed. Budgetary responsibility is integral to the position, requiring the Head Chef to utilize profit and loss statements to control costs and meet financial goals. The role also involves active participation in hiring, managing, coaching, and training kitchen staff, ensuring a productive and harmonious environment. Safety and sanitation standards will be rigorously enforced to comply with health regulations and maintain a pristine kitchen workspace.
