The role of Head Chef at HeartnBelly is a pivotal leadership position responsible for shaping the future of the company’s menu, team, and overall food experience. This is not just a cooking role; it is one of innovation, mentorship, and operational leadership. The Head Chef will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef/Owner and the Operations Manager to maintain high standards of culinary excellence while ensuring efficient kitchen operations. This position requires a culinary visionary with a passion for street food, someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and is skilled at leading teams towards consistent quality and creative menu development. The successful candidate will bring at least eight years of professional kitchen experience, including a minimum of three years in leadership roles, preferably in high-volume or production kitchens. The Head Chef will lead menu research and development, standardize recipes across locations, and implement quality control and food safety standards.

- Build performance improvement plans and support team members in reaching their potential
- Work with Kitchen Leads to create balanced schedules and ensure team well-being
- Partner with the Operations Manager to align culinary and operational goals
- Collaborate on inventory management, cost control, and equipment maintenance
