Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
- Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Have an outgoing and friendly behavior and positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment like register, calculator, scanner
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Be able to perform repetitious activities and multitask effectively
- Must lift and carry product up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically for a distance up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
- Must use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring force up to 35 lbs for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
- Requires strong attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks
- Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
- Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
- Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
- Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
- Assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
