Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- experience in retail, grocery or natural foods background preferred
- at least 1 year of cashiering experience preferred
- minimum 1 year of supervising experience preferred
- able to pass food safety training and maintain compliance
- ability to manage changing priorities and stay focused
- sense of urgency in task completion
- excellent customer service abilities
- high organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to take direction and follow through
- must be trained as a cashier and able to count currency accurately
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of cashiering experience preferred
- 1 year of supervising others preferred
- experience in grocery or retail environment preferred

Job Duties
- Providing world class customer service as the top priority
- exemplifying integrity, responsibility, and excellence by adhering to all policies
- training cashiers on customer engagement programs, store events, and nutrition information
- completing daily sales reports and cashier closeouts
- issuing and verifying cash drawers
- handling returns and overrides
- addressing customer complaints appropriately
- ensuring front end sets are full and well-maintained
- overseeing completion of front end task lists daily
- maintaining register binders
- directing cashiers during slow periods
- executing general cashiering and checkout duties
- monitoring and assigning cart checks
- answering the telephone
- assisting with special orders
- supervising grinding of nut butters
- familiarizing and directing customers on product locations
- participating in stocking, tagging, cleaning, markdowns, and backstock as needed
- working a schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
