Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or GED
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Leadership training
Dependable and reliable with flexible scheduling availability
Strong communication skills
Ability to operate cashier equipment
Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
Ability to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency
Ability to multitask and stay organized

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or GED
Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to participate in a team environment
Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator and scanner
Have strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Ability to read, write and count
Able to perform repetitious activities, multitask, prioritize and stay organized
Able to lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs and move grocery carts requiring a force up to 35 lbs

Job Duties

Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks
Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
Assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
