Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
age at least 18 years
1-2 years cashiering experience
leadership training experience
reliable and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
ability to operate register and scanning equipment
strong communication skills
ability to take direction and work in a team
physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs repeatedly
use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency
able to multitask and stay organized

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
possess a high school diploma or GED
have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
have the ability to interact with customers and serve as a role model
ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
have good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask, prioritize and stay organized
strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties

Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks
Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
Assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
