Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
possess a high school diploma or GED
have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
have and show outgoing and friendly behavior and a positive attitude
ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners
have good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
be able to perform repetitious activities and multitask
must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs for distances up to 3 feet without mechanical assistance
must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for distances up to 4 feet
require strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
be proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
ability to read, write, and count

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks
Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
Assist in the hiring and training of new Cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
Provide mentorship and leadership to front-end team members in a fast-paced retail environment
