The hotel’s central location provides easy access to Greenville’s vibrant cultural attractions, dining, and entertainment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable stay with a blend of comfort and sophistication.

We are currently seeking an experienced and innovative Head Bartender / Master Mixologist for our Press Room venue within the hotel. This role is perfect for a passionate mixologist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills. As the Head Bartender / Master Mixologist, you will play a crucial role in elevating our beverage program by crafting original cocktail menus and designing innovative drink offerings in close collaboration with the Beverage Director. Your expertise in mixology will contribute significantly to creating a unique and memorable guest experience that aligns perfectly with our brand values.

This full-time position offers competitive compensation with performance-based incentives, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals who wish to grow their careers in the dynamic hospitality industry. Your responsibility will also include maintaining quality and consistency in drink preparation and presentation, as well as overseeing bar inventory and operations.

In addition to mixology, the position requires strong leadership to train, mentor, and manage cocktail servers and barback staff. You will delegate tasks to ensure smooth operation during peak hours while fostering a positive and motivating work environment. Customer service is paramount; interacting with guests to recommend drinks, handle feedback professionally, and build lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits will be key components of your daily work.

Operational oversight is another important aspect of this role, including adherence to state laws regarding alcohol service, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations. This role demands resilience and professionalism under pressure, along with the ability to multitask and maintain excellent communication within a diverse team. The AC Hotel downtown Greenville offers a vibrant and innovative setting where your passion for mixology and commitment to exceptional service will be highly valued and cultivated.
