Job Description

PTS Worldwide is a leading transportation provider specializing in carrying critical and sensitive cargo across the United States. As an essential carrier for the Department of Defense, PTS Worldwide is entrusted with the vital mission of safely transporting arms, ammunition, and explosives between military bases in all 48 states. The company operates with a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and service excellence, ensuring that every delivery meets rigorous standards required for handling hazardous materials and military-grade freight. As a respected name in the trucking industry, PTS Worldwide invests heavily in its drivers with competitive pay packages, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment designed for long-term professional success.

PTS Worldwide is currently seeking established CDL-A driving teams to join its Over-the-Road (OTR) fleet operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced, safety-conscious drivers with hazardous materials endorsements (HAZMAT) to earn a guaranteed income of $3,000 a week per team, with pay structured at $0.78 cents per mile to the truck. The company offers various bonuses including safety incentives valued at $2,000 annually per driver, and orientation completion pay of $2,000 along with covered travel costs for orientation. With a commitment to driver well-being, PTS provides flexible home time with a minimum of four weeks out schedule, letting drivers maintain balance between work and personal life.

The team-based driving position promises no-touch freight to reduce driver fatigue and focus on road safety, with max-governed truck speeds of 70 mph to encourage fuel-efficient and safer driving. Weekly pay is deposited directly, supported by a 24/7 emergency office to assist drivers whenever needed. Additional pay categories such as stop pay, detention pay, breakdown pay, PSS pay, and Drom pay add earning potential beyond mileage. Benefits offered by the company include Blue Cross Blue Shield health coverage, voluntary dental, vision, life, and accident insurance options, employer-paid life insurance, and a competitive 401k plan with up to 3 percent company match. Holiday pay is also provided as part of the benefits package to recognize and reward drivers during significant holidays.

Ideal candidates must have a minimum of two years recent and verifiable Class A CDL driving experience, steady work history, the ability to obtain a national security clearance (U.S. citizenship is mandatory), and a valid HAZMAT endorsement. Preference is given to those with a TWIC card for additional credentials in secure transport environments. Drivers must meet insurance standards based on their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) reports to qualify. While teams are primarily sought, PTS Worldwide offers assistance in pairing drivers who need a co-driver to comply with this requirement. Candidates who have failed drug and alcohol program (SAP) requirements will not be considered.

Joining PTS Worldwide not only means becoming part of a mission-critical operation dedicated to national security but also aligning career goals with a company that values safety, reliability, and driver respect. This role offers a rewarding career path, steady income with significant earning potential, and comprehensive support to ensure drivers can focus on what they do best – safely delivering essential freight across the country.
