The Handyperson - Light Maintenance position with KBS is a full-time, permanent role designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for enhancing safety and functionality within workplace premises. This role is integral to the upkeep and maintenance of various building structures and facilities. The Handyperson will be responsible for performing minor repairs involving carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks, as well as cleaning and maintaining the exterior services. The position operates on shifts from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday, with rotated weekends, offering a starting pay of $12.50 per hour.

In this role, the Handyperson will execute a multitude of duties such as general cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other spaces; sweeping, mopping floors; emptying trash receptacles; performing recycling task management; cleaning windows and mirrored surfaces; polishing stainless steel; dusting furniture and fixtures; and replenishing restroom supplies. They will also handle routine building maintenance work including changing light bulbs, painting touch-ups, and setting up or tearing down equipment for meetings or functions.

Safety and compliance with health regulations are of paramount importance in this role, and the Handyperson will be responsible for adhering to all applicable safety rules and procedures while operating equipment safely. The position requires the use of the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software to ensure accurate recording of work hours and attendance, with cell phone reimbursement provided when applicable.
