Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Sales Porter to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining our inventory, ensuring that all vehicles on the lot are well-maintained, clean, and displayed properly to enhance the overall appearance of the dealership. The Sales Porter will be responsible for moving vehicles to their designated spots, placing buyer guides and stock tags, and reporting any lot damage or vehicle malfunctions promptly to supervisors. In addition, the Sales Porter must ensure that all vehicles are detailed and fully fueled before delivery or customer pick-up.

This role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to keeping the dealership in top condition. As a Sales Porter, you will be instrumental in creating a pristine and organized lot environment that reflects our brand’s reputation and attracts prospective buyers. Job Requirements

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • You will pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • You will undergo a background check
  • You understand that the 401K company match has an annual maximum amount
  • You understand that earned vacation time is based on the total time of continual employment
  • If you do not meet all these requirements, your application will not be considered

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate and drive vehicles safely
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Place new and used vehicles in proper inventory position as directed
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles
  • Report all lot damage or malfunctioning vehicles to the supervisor
  • Properly clean and detail vehicles for delivery or pick-up
  • Ensuring each vehicle has a full tank of gas before sale
  • Driving vehicles to and from locations
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
