Job Description
Four Seasons is a renowned luxury hotel and resort brand known globally for its exceptional service and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences. Powered by a dedicated and passionate team, Four Seasons emphasizes the development and well-being of its employees, fostering a culture where individuals strive to improve and support one another. The company takes pride in delivering unparalleled luxury experiences to its guests while maintaining a strong focus on genuine hospitality and respect. With locations worldwide, Four Seasons represents the pinnacle of the hospitality industry, blending sophisticated style with outstanding service.
Located in a vibrant coastal destination, this Four Seasons property embodies sophistication and elegance, offering a modern take on the classic yacht club lifestyle. Positioned in a prime beachfront location, the resort is minutes away from Fort Lauderdale’s best shopping, dining, marinas, and entertainment options. This provides guests with access to one of the world’s leading yachting locales, combining luxury with an energetic coastal atmosphere.
The role of the Guestroom Attendant at Four Seasons is a crucial position within the housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining impeccable cleanliness and order in guest rooms to exacting standards. This role includes tasks such as cleaning, dusting, sanitizing all guest room areas, and restocking amenities like shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, and other supplies to ensure guests have a seamless and comfortable stay. Guestroom Attendants contribute directly to guest satisfaction by ensuring that every detail within the room reflects the high standards of the Four Seasons brand.
As part of the daily responsibilities, the Guestroom Attendant removes soiled linens and replaces them with fresh ones, makes beds according to resort specifications, and cleans all guest room spaces including bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and bathrooms. The role requires vacuuming carpets, cleaning marble and tile surfaces, removing used items from minibars, and properly disposing of garbage. Attention to detail is paramount, with attendants also expected to report maintenance issues promptly and contribute to enhancing the guest experience by adding thoughtful touches to rooms.
Candidates for the Guestroom Attendant position should have at least one year of housekeeping experience, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts, demonstrating a familiarity with high standards of cleanliness and guest service. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent personal presentation, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. The job demands strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with computer systems like HotSOS is a plus, and physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds is required.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including training and development opportunities, complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons hotels and resorts, dry cleaning services for employee uniforms, and employee meals. The schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring flexibility to meet operational needs. The role also requires U.S. work authorization, reflecting the employer’s commitment to diversity, equal opportunity, and affirmative action practices. Four Seasons encourages applications from minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, underscoring their inclusive workplace philosophy.
