Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role
  • Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in dealing with visitors
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and email
  • Ability to perform data entry
  • Capacity to follow hospital visitor policies and patient confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
  • Ability to deal with visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and email
  • Data entry skills
  • Prior experience in customer service-oriented positions
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and monitor all visitors to the hospital
  • Provide patient room and phone numbers to callers and visitors using a computerized visitor badging system
  • Monitor visiting hours and distribute computerized visitor passes according to hospital policy
  • Navigate computer programs to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Assist visitors with inquiries including valet parking in the absence of parking ambassador
  • Identify and communicate emergencies occurring in the lobby area
  • Locate and coordinate with departments for receiving after-hour and weekend time sensitive packages
