Job Description
InTown Suites is a well-established hospitality company known for providing affordable and comfortable extended-stay accommodations to travelers across the United States. Catering primarily to business travelers, relocating families, and anyone in need of short to mid-term housing, InTown Suites offers a range of amenities to ensure that guests feel at home during their stay. The brand emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service with a focus on small gestures that create memorable experiences, aiming to distinguish itself through value and guest satisfaction. Operating multiple properties nationwide, InTown Suites is dedicated to maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all guests, backed by a staff committed to professional and courteous service.
The role of Guest Services Representative at InTown Suites is a key position that directly influences the guest experience and operational success of the hotel property. This position involves being the face of the hotel, managing the front office operations with professionalism and efficiency. The Guest Services Representative is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns with tact and promptness. Beyond routine front desk duties, this role requires supervisory capabilities, stepping in for the General Manager as needed to oversee property staff and ensure operational integrity. The Representative must uphold safety and security protocols, manage financial deposits in the absence of management, and ensure the property remains clean and orderly.
Ideal candidates will possess a blend of hospitality knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities to enhance guest satisfaction and support the smooth operation of the hotel. Though previous hospitality experience is preferred, candidates with relevant transferable skills and a high school diploma or equivalent education are encouraged to apply. Technological proficiency with computer systems is essential for completing reports, handling reservations, and maintaining accurate financial transactions. The role demands physical stamina, as the Representative must often stand for long periods and perform light physical activities to maintain the property's presentation. InTown Suites values diversity and fosters an inclusive work environment, inviting individuals who are committed, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a team-oriented culture.
Employment at InTown Suites as a Guest Services Representative offers competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time employees, alongside a 401(k) plan with company matching. Paid time off is also provided, with additional perks such as flexible scheduling, no late shifts, and Sundays off to promote work-life balance. Training programs and a supportive onboarding process ensure that new hires are well-prepared to succeed in their role and grow professionally within the company. This position presents a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to join a reputable hotel brand, develop their careers, and make a meaningful impact on guest experiences.
