With a commitment to career growth opportunities and competitive health benefits, InTown Suites represents an excellent workplace for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service.
Currently, InTown Suites is seeking a Guest Services Representative to join their hotel team. This important role is responsible for assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front office functions. The Guest Services Representative serves as the face of the hotel, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations accurately, and promptly addressing guest concerns. Beyond guest interactions, this position plays a critical managerial role by assuming front office supervisory duties in the absence of the General Manager. The role demands proficiency in computer systems, strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
The Guest Services Representative also oversees property safety and security compliance, supervises staff when necessary, and handles administrative tasks. This role requires a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly front desk environment. The position involves working long hours, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting or moving moderate loads. Additionally, local travel may be required, for which a valid driver’s license and insurance proof are necessary.
Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory. Key skills include strong reading and comprehension abilities, efficient communication, mathematical competency for revenue calculations, and a thorough understanding of front office operations. The ability to train staff, upsell services, and solve operational problems is highly valued. The company provides comprehensive on-the-job training to support new hires and encourages professional growth within its inclusive workplace culture.
In summary, joining InTown Suites as a Guest Services Representative is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a team that values excellence, professionalism, and guest satisfaction while enjoying a positive work environment, flexible schedules, and a robust benefits package.
