Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge

  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet, greet and assist patients and guests and provide general information regarding services, facility and geographical area
  • Respond to special requests from patients, customers and guests and make special arrangements to ensure unique needs are met
  • Assist patients and guests with scheduling transportation or other services as needed
  • Gather, summarize and provide information about the property and surrounding area amenities and establishments
  • Coordinate patient needs with other departments and contract appropriate individuals or departments to resolve requests
  • Coordinate access to care delivery areas, perform visitor authorization procedures, serve as liaison between visitors and staff, relay visitor concerns to staff and coordinate visitor support services
  • Answer phone calls, transfer calls, take and relay messages as needed
  • Provide tours of the facility and escort customers to appropriate areas within the facility
  • Perform functions with minimal supervision based on training and policies
  • Assist with patient and guest inquiries to ensure a positive experience
