- Additional related education and/or experience preferred
Job Duties
- Meet, greet and assist patients and guests and provide general information regarding services, facility and geographical area
- Respond to special requests from patients, customers and guests and make special arrangements to ensure unique needs are met
- Assist patients and guests with scheduling transportation or other services as needed
- Gather, summarize and provide information about the property and surrounding area amenities and establishments
- Coordinate patient needs with other departments and contract appropriate individuals or departments to resolve requests
- Coordinate access to care delivery areas, perform visitor authorization procedures, serve as liaison between visitors and staff, relay visitor concerns to staff and coordinate visitor support services
- Answer phone calls, transfer calls, take and relay messages as needed
- Provide tours of the facility and escort customers to appropriate areas within the facility
- Perform functions with minimal supervision based on training and policies
- Assist with patient and guest inquiries to ensure a positive experience
