Job Requirements
- Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of greeter experience or equivalent customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to monitor and assess concurrent situations and visitors
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology helpful

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Duties
- Greet hospital guests and provide verbal assistance and directions
- Serve as a reference for visiting hours and hospital policies
- Assist with parking cashier functions and validate patient parking
- Compute and collect parking fees when pay stations are offline
- Balance receipts and prepare daily activity reports
- Monitor visitor controls and comply with visitation policies
- Issue courtesy parking discounts and free passes
- Use computer systems to disseminate patient information
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Handle medical and security emergencies following departmental guidelines
- Report incidents related to clinical care
- Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with others
- Answer and transfer incoming calls per hospital guidelines
- Ensure workstations are stocked with necessary materials
- Provide physical assistance including wheelchair transport
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby areas
- Train and orient new employees
- Issue patient scooters as needed
