The Guest Service Attendant role at Fairmont Grand Del Mar offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an exceptional guest experience from the moment they arrive. This position primarily focuses on assisting guests with their vehicles and luggage upon arrival and departure at the resort's front drive. As a Guest Service Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering luggage, messages, and other requested items to guest rooms, ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable during their stay. Your duties will include helping guests understand the room's features, such as temperature controls, and maintaining a friendly and professional presence in the lobby when not delivering items.
This role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment. You will be collaborating closely with other colleagues to deliver a smooth, timely, and seamless experience for every guest. A basic knowledge of the resort’s activities and amenities is essential to provide accurate information and assistance tailored to guest needs. Job Requirements

- previous customer service experience preferred
- valid California driver's license
- clean driving record
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- basic reading and counting ability
