Job Description

Located in the scenic mountain town of Bend, Oregon, Mt. Bachelor is a renowned ski resort operated by POWDR, a company dedicated to delivering exceptional mountain experiences. Mt. Bachelor has established itself as a leader in the outdoor recreation industry, blending mountain culture with a welcoming and fun work environment. The organization is driven by a shared mission to create memorable experiences for guests, foster positivity, and promote teamwork among its employees. With a vibrant culture that values problem-solving and collaboration, Mt. Bachelor offers more than just employment – it offers the opportunity to work where you play, aligning career with personal passion and lifestyle.

The Guest Service Level 2 Agent role at Mt. Bachelor is essential in ensuring that every guest interaction is smooth, informative, and positive. Agents work across various high-volume sales environments such as ticketing, equipment rentals, Ski and Ride School, Zipline Tours, RV reservations, and special sunset events. They are experts in navigating the online purchase flow and guiding guests through transactions on various devices, including mobile phones, laptops, and tablets. This role requires a high level of computer literacy, particularly in handling sophisticated point-of-sale systems that are integral to the resort's operations.

The position is dynamic, with agents working both indoors and outdoors in a high-energy, alpine winter setting. Guest Service Agents interface with guests directly, via email, text, or phone and across multiple sales locations, including West Village Guest Services, Sunrise Guest Services, and Sun Country Tours in Bend and Sunriver. The role demands exceptional customer service skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and comprehensive knowledge of all Mt. Bachelor and Sun Country Tours products and services.

Beyond transactional duties, agents support retail operations by maintaining product displays, restocking merchandise, and sharing product knowledge with team members. The job requires a proactive approach to supporting the team, including staying informed on procedural updates, participating in staff meetings, and taking initiative in various departmental needs.

Safety and security are paramount at Mt. Bachelor. Agents are expected to be vigilant, report unsafe situations, and actively participate in the Mt. Bachelor Safety Huddle Program and safety training matrix. The role also emphasizes punctuality and professionalism, with agents required to report to work in complete uniform and ready to represent the resort's commitment to guest satisfaction.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in an outdoor environment, possess strong interpersonal communication skills, and have a passion for customer service and mountain culture. It is an excellent opportunity for those looking to combine their love of the outdoors with a career focused on delivering top-tier guest experiences. Offered benefits include a free employee season pass, discounts on family passes, free transportation options, and participation in a 401k retirement plan with company matching. Mt. Bachelor also provides unique perks such as employee housing, discounted onsite daycare, and reciprocal access to other POWDR resorts.
