This role involves greeting patients and visitors warmly, maintaining patient comfort by ensuring they have access to important amenities like phones, call bells, water, pillows, blankets, and seating for visitors, as well as assisting with wayfinding throughout the facility.

The Unit Concierge position requires an individual with exceptional customer service and communication abilities, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in sensitive healthcare environments. The role demands collaboration with clinical staff to address and resolve patient needs efficiently, contributing to a calm and hospitable atmosphere within the hospital units. The Unit Concierge also supports coordination between clinical teams, Environmental Services, and Food Services to maintain a safe and comfortable environment, responding promptly to emergencies, special needs, and other unit requests.

This position operates onsite at the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest location, primarily during day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
