The Front Desk Agent role is a non-management, full-time position primarily focused on guest services within the rooms and guest services operations category. The position is on-site at the Nashville location and offers a dynamic work environment where employees, referred to as STARs, are encouraged to provide thoughtful service to guests, support team goals, and uphold company standards.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming and acknowledging them with genuine warmth and professionalism. Your duties will involve confirming and processing reservations, handling billing and payments securely, activating and filing room keys, and responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate daily reports, managing cash transactions with precision, and coordinating with security to handle any theft reports. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You must be adept at problem-solving, attentive to detail, and capable of multitasking to meet the varied needs of guests. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. This role requires a commitment to company policies including confidentiality, safety standards, and quality assurance.
