Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of all restaurant policies practices and operational and human resources procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to accurately receive money and count back change
- Practices adequate security measures in cash handling making frequent cash drops and maintaining minimum amount of cash in the drawer
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to report to work timely for each scheduled shift
Job Duties
- Greet all customers with a sincere smile making them feel welcome through positive pleasant and enthusiastic attitude
- Take and fill customer orders within company mandated service time
- Suggestive upsell of products as directed by management
- Collect money and deliver order to customer
- Immediately attend to any customer service problem or complaint and notify manager as needed
- Verify opening reading and bank and be accountable for all cash issued and received at their register during shift and all guest checks used
- Count down drawer at end of shift to ensure accuracy
- Immediately notify manager in charge of any deletions over-rings or equipment problems
- Ensure that all product holding times are strictly observed
- Ensure products on the counter or in the display case are properly rotated and attractively displayed
- Keep display case interior and exterior clean at all times
- Stock the service area with sufficient supply of napkins cups lids etc
- Maintain an adequate supply of iced tea
- Perform all other duties as assigned
