The role of Guest Service Representative at Legends Global’s El Paso Water Parks is a pivotal position focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. The ideal candidate will take the lead in greeting patrons, providing information about ticketing and season passes, and assisting with entry processes to ensure a smooth experience. They act as the initial touchpoint of customer engagement, setting the tone for fun and safe enjoyment throughout the park facilities.

This position requires a strong commitment to top-tier customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately. Job Requirements

  • Working towards a high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written instructions
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a prolonged stationary position
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds routinely and occasionally lift more
  • Ability to communicate verbally
  • Willingness to work extended and irregular hours including holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to obtain or have a Food Handler’s certificate
  • Computer knowledge and typing skills
  • Experience with POS systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests to El Paso Water Parks in a warm friendly manner
  • Provide information related to ticket and season pass purchase options and policies
  • Initiate conversations with guests and provide relevant information about attractions, park information, and special events
  • Deescalate guest concerns and escalate to management when necessary
  • Implement strategic sales initiatives as trained by management
  • Assist with or host birthday parties, cabana rentals, or special group events
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions and perform end-of-day reconciliation
  • Maintain issued equipment
  • Participate in safety and customer service training
  • Serve in a public information and relations capacity
  • Report irregularities and safety concerns to supervisor
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a friendly, fun, and safe environment for guests
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and foster harmonious relationships with other departments
  • Enforce all safety and sanitation guidelines including OSHA requirements
  • Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned
