Job Requirements

  • prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • good organizational skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • organize guest check-ins and check-outs
  • process room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • secure payment and verify billing
  • activate and file room keys
  • manage guest requests and relay messages
  • print contingency lists for emergency records
  • explain room features and provide information about property amenities and local attractions
  • follow up on outstanding guest requests and resolve issues
  • run and review daily reports and logs
  • complete cashier and closing reports
  • accept, record, and deliver wake-up call requests
  • count and secure bank at shift start and end
  • process various payment types and adjustments
  • notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports
  • follow company policies and procedures
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome guests and anticipate their service needs
  • assist guests with disabilities
  • answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform other duties as required
