Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
  • Capability to manage cash handling and billing procedures
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including standing or walking for long periods
  • Skills in preparing reports and maintaining operational documentation

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm and process guest check-ins and check-outs adapting to changes
  • Ensure payments are secured by verifying and adjusting billing as necessary
  • Provide guests with room assignments, hotel information, directions, amenities and local points of interest
  • Prepare daily reports and review all information to communicate essential details to the next shift
  • Complete cashier and closing reports, count cash accurately at the end of each shift
  • Accept and log wake-up calls and forward them to the appropriate departments
  • Communicate emergencies, lost items or theft incidents to authorities or security personnel
  • Maintain contingency lists for emergencies and communicate necessary messages
