Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper uniform and name tag per brand standards
- Comply with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards and regulations to support safe and efficient hotel operations
- Greet and welcome all guests approaching the front desk according to company standards
- Maintain operation of telephone switchboard and meet all performance standards
- Handle requests for information, mail, and messages efficiently and courteously
- Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation
- Respond to guest questions regarding restaurant, transportation, and entertainment
- Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with colleagues and other departments
- Follow company credit policies
- Be knowledgeable of rates, packages, promotions, in-house groups, and restricted dates
- Obtain necessary information for room reservations and follow rate quoting scenarios
- Be familiar with company policies, house rules, and hospitality terminology
- Assist in emergency procedures as required
- Conduct check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient manner
- Operate front desk computer system proficiently
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with employees
- Maintain attentiveness, friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy to guests, managers, and employees
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
