Located in Seattle, Washington, JW Marriott exemplifies Marriott's dedication to quality and innovation in hospitality. The company values diversity and is proud to maintain a welcoming and equal opportunity employer status, fostering a culture that celebrates the unique backgrounds and talents of every associate. The workplace culture at JW Marriott is built on principles of confidence, innovation, and genuine service — the hallmarks of the Marriott legacy that dates back to its founder, J. Willard Marriott.

The Guest Service Expert role at JW Marriott Seattle is a crucial customer-facing position meant to enhance the guest dining experience by delivering thoughtful and efficient service. This is a seasonal, part-time, non-management position offering an hourly wage of $21.30 plus eligibility for tips and service charge compensation. Guest Service Experts ensure that every interaction feels personalized and memorable, contributing to the brand’s promise of "Wonderful Hospitality. Always."

Employees in this role are expected to be physically active, standing or walking for extended periods on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces and performing smooth physical motions such as lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance. The position demands attentiveness to maintaining quality standards, safety protocols, and upholding a polished personal appearance and professional communication. At JW Marriott Seattle, Guest Service Experts are vital to creating a seamless and inviting guest experience through collaboration and proactive service. They embody the Marriott spirit by not only fulfilling their duties but by choosing to create joyful moments and elevated hospitality for each visitor.

As a part of Marriott, associates are provided with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) plans, stock purchase options, discounts on Marriott properties, commuter benefits, employee assistance programs, and childcare discounts. For part-time Washington state employees, paid sick leave accrual and eligibility for seven annual holidays are additional benefits offered. Marriott's dedication to employee welfare extends further in full-time positions by offering coverage for medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave, and educational assistance.

Joining JW Marriott Seattle means entering a community-focused workplace where your contributions matter and your career path is supported through ongoing training and opportunity for advancement.
