The Westin Buffalo is a luxury lifestyle hotel known for its AAA Four Diamond rating, offering well-appointed guest rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, and two signature onsite restaurants, Patina 250 and Jake’s Café. Since its inception in 2019, the hotel has been a favorite among travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and exceptional service in downtown Buffalo. Delaware North is currently searching for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Guest Service Attendants at the Westin Buffalo. This role offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, providing flexibility based on individual preferences and schedules. The hourly wage ranges from $15.50 to $16.50, not including potential tipped earnings, making it a lucrative option for those passionate about hospitality and guest service. As a Guest Service Attendant, you will have the unique opportunity to work in various areas of the hotel, including tours, bell attendant services, valet, room service, and transportation. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have the physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Prior hotel experience is preferred
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills, demonstrating proper manners and etiquette
  • Requires excellent people skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing for driving a company vehicle

Job Duties

  • Greets and assists guests with luggage at check-in, check-out, and storage
  • Assists guests with city information and directions
  • Delivers items as requested by guests or manager on duty
  • Delivers all in-room dining (IRD) food and beverage
  • Delivers guest amenities to rooms
  • Transport guests as needed
  • All other tasks as needed
