The Guest Service Associate/Cashier (GSA) role at Global Partners LP is a dynamic position centered on enhancing the overall guest experience while managing a variety of store-level tasks efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring guests receive exceptional service from the moment they enter to when they leave the store. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with customers, takes pride in their work, and exhibits a heart-centered approach to customer care. Key attributes include having excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to establish meaningful relationships with guests, and a strong sense of responsibility and organization.
In this role, the GSA will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, maintaining cleanliness and order within the store, managing the point of sale system with accuracy, and ensuring product availability by replenishing stock. The role also includes upholding safety, security, and quality standards while supporting store management through effective communication about guest requests and vendor concerns. Additional responsibilities involve checking in vendors, conducting inventory tasks such as gas tank counts, and participating in merchandising projects. Candidates should be flexible with their working hours, willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Duties
- greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
- maintain proper cash, lottery tobacco levels
- complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash etc
- replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
- conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- complete other tasks as assigned by management
