Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable transportation
- ability to work in intermittent temperatures such as outside and cooler areas
- ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- ability to access all store areas freely
- ability to perform job duties timely
- good reading, writing, and counting skills
Job Qualifications
- Ability to greet and engage with guests effectively
- knowledge of basic point of sale operations
- strong communication skills
- basic computer literacy
- ability to follow safety and operational policies
- physical ability to perform cleaning, stocking, and lifting duties
- basic math skills for accurate counting and paperwork completion
- ability to support onboarding and training of new employees
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience
- adhere to safety, security, quality and store operation policies
- operate point of sale system maintaining proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels
- complete store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
- replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions at all times
- communicate with store management about guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- check in external and internal vendors according to guidelines
- conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- complete other tasks assigned by management
