The Guest Service Associate role at Global Partners plays a pivotal part in continuing this legacy by delivering exceptional guest experiences at the store level. Moreover, the Guest Service Associate is responsible for operating the point of sale system with accuracy, managing cash and inventory such as lottery and tobacco products, and fulfilling essential store housekeeping duties like cleaning and restocking. Communication with store management is key, especially in reporting guest requests, vendor concerns, and ensuring compliance with vendor check-in protocols. Additional responsibilities include conducting gas tank inventory, merchandising projects, and supporting new hire onboarding and training within their team.

This role requires a flexible schedule with an ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The candidate must be comfortable working in varying temperatures, capable of performing physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 25 pounds, and have reliable transportation to and from the workplace. Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience
  • adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures and practices
  • operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
  • maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
  • complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash
  • replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
  • communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
  • check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
  • conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
  • complete other tasks as assigned by management
