The Guest Service Associate role at Global Partners is pivotal in driving a top-notch guest experience while ensuring the smooth completion of all store-level tasks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform activities such as lifting, bending, climbing ladders/stairs, and working in various temperature conditions
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform duties in a timely manner

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
  • Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in intermittent temperatures including outside and cooler environments
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
  • Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
  • Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
  • maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
  • Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.)
  • Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
  • Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
  • Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
  • Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management
