The role of Guest Service Associate/Cashier (GSA) is pivotal within the retail segment of Global Partners, particularly at Alltown Fresh locations. This position focuses on delivering outstanding guest experiences by ensuring that every customer interaction is friendly, efficient, and effective. GSAs are expected to exceed the standard of guest service by maintaining a guest-first mentality, greeting and interacting with guests warmly, and fostering a positive shopping environment. The GSA role is not only about customer service but also about maintaining operational excellence—managing point of sale (POS) transactions accurately, handling cash and lottery tobacco products responsibly, and keeping the store clean, stocked, and safe. Incorporating safety, security, and quality standards into daily tasks is essential to this role. This position requires multitasking across various responsibilities such as cleaning, restocking, vendor communications, and inventory checks to ensure a seamless store operation.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and or holidays
- ability to perform basic computer functions
- must have reliable transportation
- ability to work in intermittent temperatures such as outside and cooler
- ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift or carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- perform duties of the job in a timely manner
- ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork

Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
- maintain proper cash, lottery tobacco levels
- complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash
- replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
- conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- complete other tasks as assigned by management
