The Guest Service Associate role at Global Partners is designed to deliver an exceptional guest experience while ensuring the smooth operation of all store-level tasks. This position plays a critical role in greeting guests, providing a pleasant shopping environment, and assisting with store maintenance and operations. The associate will work as part of a team dedicated to meeting the high standards of safety, quality, and customer service that Global Partners is known for. Duties include operating the point of sale in line with corporate standards, maintaining cash and product levels, performing housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and stocking, and managing communication with store management and vendors. Additionally, the associate will contribute to inventory management, merchandising projects, and adhere to company procedures regarding vendor check-ins and safety policies.

This position requires flexibility, with availability needed for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Physical demands involve working in varying temperature conditions and the ability to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lbs, and moving freely throughout the store. The role also demands basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to handle paperwork accurately. Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • Perform duties of the job in a timely manner

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
  • Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
  • Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
  • Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
  • maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
  • Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.)
  • Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
  • Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
  • Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
  • Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management
