The role of Front Desk Agent and Shuttle Driver is pivotal in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for guests. As a Front Desk Agent, your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, managing check-ins and check-outs promptly, and assisting with reservation pre-registration and blocking when necessary. Precision in posting and managing charges, whether via cash, check, or credit card, is essential. Proficiency with the front office computer system, including rare transaction scenarios, is required to maintain smooth daily operations. The role demands an understanding of hotel rates, special request accommodations, cancellation policies, and room relocation procedures.

In addition to front desk duties, the role involves shuttle driving responsibilities, requiring safe and courteous transport of guests to and from the airport. The position also entails assisting guests with their luggage, demonstrating attentiveness and care. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver s license for the applicable state
  • No moving violations on driving record
  • Availability to work evening and night shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work as part of a team providing great guest experiences

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service preferred
  • Ability to operate front office computer systems or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to handle cash accurately

Job Duties

  • Greet and communicate cordially with guests promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel
  • Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
  • Promptly accurately and efficiently know how and where to post all charges
  • Have complete working knowledge of Front Office computer or manual system including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often
  • Accurately manage cash handling including receiving cash checks and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making change correctly
  • Review any reservations with special requests and work to block rooms accordingly
  • Have knowledge of hotel rates discounts and how to handle each
  • Have working knowledge of reservations and procedures including how to take same day reservations Should be able to take reservations in approximately 2 minutes Know and follow cancellation procedures and relocation procedures when necessary
  • This position will have Shuttle Driving responsibilities along with Guest Service responsibilities A Driver is responsible for driving the van to and from the airport according to scheduled van runs and or as needed for guests and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive courteous and efficient manner He she is also responsible for assisting with luggage
  • The starting rate for this position is 16.50 dollars per hour
