Job Description

HHM Hotels is a renowned hospitality company dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality service, modern amenities, and a commitment to sustainability. Recognized for its welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail, HHM Hotels operates a range of properties from boutique accommodations to full-service hotels, each designed to meet the evolving needs of travelers seeking comfort and convenience. The company supports a culture of respect and excellence, fostering a team environment where employees are empowered to provide outstanding customer service and grow professionally.

The front desk role at HHM Hotels is essential in creating memorable stays for guests. As the first point of contact, front desk associates are responsible for greeting guests warmly and registering them efficiently while upholding the brand's service and sustainability standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career within a dynamic hospitality environment, with clear growth paths leading to roles such as Front Desk Supervisor or Sales Coordinator, eventually advancing to Front Office Manager or Sales Manager positions.

This role requires a friendly demeanor and strong organizational skills to manage guest reservations, verify payments, and respond promptly to guest requests and complaints. Staff will also assist with basic bookkeeping activities, ensure the safety of guests' valuables, and maintain awareness of guest satisfaction scores to continuously improve service quality. Flexibility is key, with duties occasionally extending to aiding in breakfast service or guest luggage assistance during busy periods.

HHM Hotels values safety and compliance; therefore, all associates must adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards while practicing safe work habits. The position welcomes candidates who have strong customer service experience or relevant training and prefer those familiar with Property Management Systems (PMS). High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

At HHM Hotels, employees enjoy comprehensive benefits, including competitive wages across full-time and part-time roles, medical, dental, and vision health coverage, paid time off, and a 401k company match program. Other perks include daily pay options, free basic life insurance, confidential 24/7 access to wellness resources through TELUS Health, travel discounts, commuter benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, and opportunities for both educational and professional development. Additionally, team members can participate in referral bonus programs to encourage community and collaboration.

Working at HHM Hotels involves a dynamic schedule that may require availability on weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, as well as bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The company champions a philosophy centered on "People Are Our Capability," "Hearts That Serve," "Only Excellence," "Stay Nimble," and "Own It," which guides its commitment to employee and guest satisfaction alike.
