With multiple locations, HHM Hotels offers diverse employment opportunities ranging from entry-level positions to management roles, catering to individuals passionate about the hotel sector and eager to grow their careers with a company that values its employees as its greatest asset.
The Front Desk Agent role at HHM Hotels is pivotal in shaping the guests' first and lasting impressions. This position involves greeting, registering, and servicing guests in a friendly and courteous manner consistent with HHM Hotels' brand and sustainability standards. The Front Desk Agent acts as the primary point of contact for guests, fulfilling various responsibilities including check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations, securing payments, and promptly addressing guest requests or concerns. This role demands a proactive approach to customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to customer interaction, Front Desk Agents contribute significantly to the operational success of the hotel by performing essential administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, balancing accounts, and assisting in the breakfast area or during peak periods. They also play a crucial role in maintaining guest satisfaction scores and work persistently towards enhancing the overall guest experience. HHM Hotels fosters a culture of safety and professionalism; therefore, Front Desk Agents must adhere to workplace safety standards and contribute to a safe working environment.
HHM Hotels emphasizes career growth and development; hence, this position offers clear advancement opportunities. Successful Front Desk Agents can progress to supervisory or coordinator roles such as Front Desk Supervisor or Sales Coordinator, and eventually advance to managerial positions like Front Office Manager or Sales Manager. This growth path is designed to nurture talent within the organization, providing employees with the tools and training needed to excel in their hospitality careers.
The work environment at HHM Hotels requires flexibility, as schedules may vary and include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. HHM Hotels is dedicated to supporting its workforce through competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and an inclusive, supportive culture. Employees enjoy medical, dental, and vision health insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, travel discounts, and various wellness programs.
This position is ideal for individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent and previous customer service experience. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) is preferred but not mandatory, as HHM Hotels values attitude, dedication, and a willingness to learn. The Front Desk Agent role is both rewarding and challenging, offering the chance to interact with diverse guests while contributing to the overall success and reputation of the hotel brand. If you are passionate about hospitality, eager to offer stellar service, and ready to grow in a dynamic hotel environment, HHM Hotels invites you to join their team and be part of a company committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
