HHM Hotels is a reputable hospitality company known for its commitment to excellence and dedication to providing outstanding guest experiences. As a growing hotel management company, HHM Hotels operates a collection of properties that emphasize comfort, quality service, and a welcoming atmosphere for travelers. The company's philosophy centers around putting people first, with core values such as "People Are Our Capability," "Hearts That Serve," "Only Excellence," "Stay Nimble," and "Own It," reflecting their passionate and dynamic approach to hospitality. Managed by HHM Hotels, the company encourages a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement, making it a rewarding place to work for both seasoned hospitality professionals and those new to the industry.
The role of a Guest Service Agent at HHM Hotels is a vital position within the front desk team, responsible for greeting, registering, and servicing guests with warmth, courtesy, and efficiency according to the hotel's brand and sustainability standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in hotel management and guest services, with a clear growth path toward roles such as Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager. The Guest Service Agent plays a key role in shaping the guest experience by managing reservations, processing payments, handling guest inquiries and requests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
In this position, you will be the face of the hotel, providing personalized service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. You will assist guests with their needs immediately upon arrival, manage room assignments, verify payment methods, and maintain accurate records through the Property Management System (PMS). You will also be responsible for responding promptly to guest requests, resolving complaints when necessary, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and pleasant experience.
Additional responsibilities include securing guests' valuables, performing bookkeeping tasks such as balancing accounts and conducting audits, and supporting other hotel operations during peak times or special circumstances, such as assisting in the breakfast area or helping guests with luggage. Safety and compliance with workplace standards, including OSHA and MSDS guidelines, are fundamental aspects of the role. HHM Hotels fosters an environment where team members are dedicated to upholding guest satisfaction scores and continuously working toward enhancing the overall quality of service.
HHM Hotels offers competitive wages for both full-time and part-time positions, providing comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company matching, daily pay options, and free basic life insurance. Employees also have access to 24/7 confidential work-life resources through TELUS Health, travel discounts, commuter transit and parking benefits, employee assistance programs, wellness initiatives, educational and professional development opportunities, and a referral bonus program. The work environment requires flexibility, including potential shifts on holidays, weekends, and alternate schedules, and involves physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Joining HHM Hotels as a Guest Service Agent means becoming part of a dynamic team that values excellence, nimbleness, and ownership in delivering exceptional hospitality. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and eager to grow within the hotel industry while contributing to memorable guest experiences.
