Job Duties

  • Greet guests immediately and offer assistance
  • Register and assign guests to hotel rooms
  • Establish payment methods and verify credit
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and give change
  • Transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS system
  • Respond to guest requests promptly
  • Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevate to supervisor if needed
  • Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes
  • Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
  • Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them
  • Practice safe work habits and follow OSHA and MSDS standards
  • Assist in breakfast area or with luggage during peak times
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
