Job Duties
- Greet guests immediately and offer assistance
- Register and assign guests to hotel rooms
- Establish payment methods and verify credit
- Make and confirm reservations
- Compute bills, collect payments, and give change
- Transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS system
- Respond to guest requests promptly
- Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevate to supervisor if needed
- Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes
- Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
- Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them
- Practice safe work habits and follow OSHA and MSDS standards
- Assist in breakfast area or with luggage during peak times
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
