We are currently seeking motivated and dedicated Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy creating clean, orderly, and inviting environments that enhance the guest experience. The role of the Room Attendant is vital to our operations, as it directly impacts guest satisfaction and overall hotel ratings. As a Room Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to clean and prepare 13 guest rooms per shift, ensuring each room is spotless, well-stocked, and arranged to provide guests with a comfortable stay. You will be responsible for making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms including sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, and floors, vacuuming carpets and rugs, as well as sweeping and mopping floors.
In addition to surface cleaning, you will dust and wipe down all furniture and surfaces and restock essential supplies such as toiletries, towels, tissue, and soap. It is also important to ensure that all room items including TVs, lights, air conditioning units, phones, and clocks are working properly. Maintaining cleanliness by emptying trash and cleaning ashtrays is a key duty, along with addressing guest requests promptly and reporting any maintenance or service issues to supervisors. A friendly and professional attitude towards guests and team members is critical, as this helps uphold the welcoming and supportive atmosphere Paragon Tropicana prides itself on.
This role requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to efficiently follow directions and complete tasks within a scheduled shift. We seek team players who can also work independently, have a willingness to learn, and can accept feedback constructively. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, and while a high school diploma or GED is preferred, no prior experience is required since full training will be provided.
