The role available is for a Housekeeper dedicated primarily to the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, including full and medium-sized suites. This position is essential in delivering the resort's Gold Crown Standards for room cleanliness. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning all guest rooms thoroughly, tending to areas such as full and half kitchens, living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms where linens must be changed, bathrooms including tubs and showers, and hard floor surfaces which require sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping. The job involves both routine room turnovers and periodic deep cleaning, which includes specific seasonal projects to keep the rooms in pristine condition.
This role offers a competitive per-guest-room pay structure that enables employees to earn a full-time wage while working part-time hours. Training is provided to ensure all employees meet the high standards expected by the resort. The position demands physical stamina as it involves standing for long periods, walking extensively throughout the facility, climbing stairs, bending, and occasionally lifting items weighing between 20 and 35 pounds. While previous experience in hotel or resort housekeeping is preferred, the resort welcomes applicants without experience, providing the necessary training to succeed.
Great importance is placed on customer service skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and adhering to company standards for guest service. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are considered a plus, enabling enhanced communication with a diverse guest population.
