Job Requirements
- Ability to be on feet for long periods of time
- Extensive walking
- Walk up and down stairs
- Bending and occasional lifting of up to 20-35 lbs
- Must speak basic English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Hotel or resort experience preferred but not necessary
- Detailed and customer service oriented
- Ability to speak basic English with guests
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish is a plus
- Excellent team attitude
- Adheres to company standards for guest or customer service
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously demonstrating excellent hospitality skills
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold hotel standards and procedures
- Utilize bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish to enhance guest interactions and satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations while performing janitorial and custodial tasks
- Perform periodic deep cleaning of guest rooms including seasonal projects
