Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • fill housekeeping cart with supplies and transport to assigned area
  • enter guest rooms following proper access and vacancy procedures
  • replace guest amenities, supplies, linens, and terry
  • make beds and fold terry
  • clean bathrooms
  • remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
  • check appliances for presence and functionality
  • straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
  • vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
  • follow company safety and security policies and procedures
  • report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • properly store flammable materials
  • maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
  • anticipate and address guests’ needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • support team goals
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 25 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance
  • push and pull loaded carts over uneven surfaces
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested
