Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- U.S. work authorization required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Maintains cleanliness of all guest room and/or private residences by vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning room surfaces including mirrors, furniture, floors, and bathroom fixtures ensuring streak and mark-free rooms
- Monitors guestroom equipment to ensure all items are in working order
- Completes assigned number of rooms to clean during a shift
- Participates in detail cleaning of guestrooms as assigned in accordance with the hotel’s Perfect Room Program
- Removes and replaces dirty towels and sheets
- Sanitizes all areas of the guestroom according to procedure
- Makes bed
- Removes room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
- Stocks guest room linen in appropriate storage areas
- Retrieves and delivers guest requests as needed
- Replenishes guest amenities including shampoo, lotions, stationery, pens, and refills coffee/tea supplies, mini-bar items
- Places rooms in turndown status as assigned
- Inspects and releases own rooms ensuring adherence to all standards
