Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
U.S. work authorization required
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Ability to read, write and speak English
Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

Maintains cleanliness of all guest room and/or private residences by vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning room surfaces including mirrors, furniture, floors, and bathroom fixtures ensuring streak and mark-free rooms
Monitors guestroom equipment to ensure all items are in working order
Completes assigned number of rooms to clean during a shift
Participates in detail cleaning of guestrooms as assigned in accordance with the hotel’s Perfect Room Program
Removes and replaces dirty towels and sheets
Sanitizes all areas of the guestroom according to procedure
Makes bed
Removes room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
Stocks guest room linen in appropriate storage areas
Retrieves and delivers guest requests as needed
Replenishes guest amenities including shampoo, lotions, stationery, pens, and refills coffee/tea supplies, mini-bar items
Places rooms in turndown status as assigned
Inspects and releases own rooms ensuring adherence to all standards
