Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service
- Experience with telephone systems and office equipment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Effective communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to handle clerical tasks
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
Job Qualifications
- High school education preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Clerical and filing skills preferred
- Previous cash handling experience desirable
- Telephone use proficiency
- Familiarity with office equipment
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of Bellin Hospital facility preferred
Job Duties
- Perform concierge and reception functions in a professional manner
- Greet, direct, and provide customers with accurate information and directions, including arranging escort or transport as appropriate
- Determine the reason for incoming calls, provide accurate information efficiently and route calls to the appropriate resource
- Support Laird Patient Access function with basic registration skills
- Use office equipment proficiently
- Handle telephone communications effectively
- Assist with clerical tasks and filing
